Sunday marked Axel’s first birthday, who Edwards shares with her fianc, player Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (21 August).
To commemorate the event, Edwards gave her 16 million Instagram followers a compilation of touching events from the previous year.
Axel’s first birthday party and the parents’ hospital stay before Edwards gave birth to Axel were all seen on the DVD.

The footage that opened the reel showed Edwards and Oxlade-Chamberlain, who got engaged in June, waiting for Axels birth in different hospital beds.
It continued to depict Axels early life, including a photo of the infant dozing off in a hospital.

Many films of the parents holding and playing with their kid were added by Edwards, along with clips from the family’s first trip to Dubai as a unit. Axel was also seen in a shot sporting a white and yellow duck costume.

The last images on the reel were from Axels first birthday celebration, which had an animal theme. The one-year-old, who was wearing overalls, appeared happy as he stood next to a big lion statue that was encircled by balloons.

Axel received warm wishes from the couple’s famous friends who flocked to the comments section.
Leigh-Anne Pinnock, a member of Little Mix, wished Axel a happy birthday and added three heart emojis.
Happy birthday, Axel!, wrote dancer Danielle Peazer in reference to the sweetest little button.
After dating for more than six years, Edwards and Oxlade-Chamberlain got engaged in the summer of this year.

On a beach at dusk, the Liverpool footballer proposed to the singer. Edwards shared pictures of the adorable occasion to Instagram, writing: “Last night, the love of my life got down on one knee, and I said YES!”

When Edwards appeared on Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp in November 2020, he made a previous allusion to the couple’s intention to wed.

Edwards responded, “You know what, I admire him, we don’t want to hurry into it do you know what I mean,” when asked if she would accept the athlete’s proposal. But I think my answer would be a resounding “yes”!
