According to official data, China’s logistics industry operated steadily during the first eight months of 2021. According to the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, the value of social logistics during the time increased by 12.7% year over year to 205.2 trillion yuan (about $31.64 trillion) (CFLP). Over the previous two years, the average growth rate from January to August was 6.8%.

According to an official news source, the overall logistics income for the first eight months was 7.8 trillion yuan, up 18.7% year over year and 8.4% more than the two-year average growth.

According to the CFLP, businesses in the sector continue to be upbeat about the future of their businesses and anticipate that demand for logistics will continue to expand steadily in the coming years as the economy continues to improve.
